GE AMX 110

Today I got to do some troublshooting on an AMX 110 portable x-ray machine. The problem was the tube wouldn't rotor up and the collimator light would not come on. We suspected a relay wasn't working correctly, but after many checks with a multimeter (using a DITEC training book and AMX 2 schematics), we finally were able to determine that a diode that was part of the rotor ok logic circuit was shorted. It was the C7 diode on section 3 of the portable. It's pretty easy to get to and change, so that was a good thing. After changing the diode, then it would rotor up but wouldn't make an exposure. We swapped the #4 pcb with a known good one on a hunch, and it worked.

hello,
I got a GE AMX 110 I am in the process of repairing, however, It came without the Schematics and Manuals, I suspect the trigger switch its not connected to the proper terminals,
Can you please let me know if you still have the manuals and schematics at kikocendejas@yahoo.com
